Independently owned, MPS was founded in 1969 in Newcastle as a full service advertising agency, holding it’s first client for over 30 years. In 1999 MPS made the evolution to a media buying company, focused on serving small to medium sized ad agencies and media buyers. In 2003 MPS became Australia’s first online media placement service integrating traditional and online media, reporting and analysis. Today, we remain at the forefront of systems development with a huge focus on the future direction of media.

Meet the team

Scott Mitchell Managing Partner

Scott began his career in programming and systems development before making the move to media. With his San Francisco colleagues Scott developed adhub, our online media management system which has been custom designed to meet the needs of our agent users. Surfing and soccer are his passions on the northern beaches of Sydney where he has lived since moving from Newcastle in the late eighties.

Michael Mitchell Business Development

Despite a career start in chartered accounting, Michael has built just enough personality for his interest in business development. After an extensive background in finance and small business management in Sydney he has been involved in Media since 1999. Residing on the Gold Coast he has 2 boys and loves variety in life.

Katie Jacka Media Creditors Support

Katie joined MPS in 2011, after a successful career in office administration and management in both London and Sydney. Katie’s hobbies include running, swimming, photography and cruising on her brand new Vespa. From Cornwell, England Katie has resided on Sydney's northern beaches since 2002.

Sarah Ingham Client Credit Administration

Since 2005 Sarah has provided the important communications link between agents, clients and their credit requirements. Originally from Sydney, Sarah calls the Gold Coast home and credits the coast lifestyle as the perfect place where her 3 children were raised. Sarah contributes beyond her job description! In fact Sarah's husband is Director Michael’s lifelong friend, having known each other since kindergarten.

Using his marketing degree and experience in a large Sydney agency, Jackson established Newcastle’s first independent ad agency in 1969. Trust, reliability, and providing clients with true value were keys to his success.
